Good health has long been a vital part of the mission, work, and message of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We believe that healing must include all facets of our well-being — physical, mental, social, and spiritual. This website offers resources and tools for Health Ministry leaders to engage, uplift, and empower them to serve intelligently, wisely, and with passion.

Health Ministries

We have been blessed with a great Health Ministries department. The Pueblo First Church offers classes on living a healthy lifestyle through a Vegetarian & Vegan diet, exercise, and much more. Our Health Ministries department focuses on the acronym NEWSTART which stands for Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust.

The General Conference Health Ministries Department exists to support and empower Seventh-day Adventist churches, members, and institutions around the world to experience the blessings of wholistic health while actively sharing those blessings with others. We believe that we have been created as holistic beings with physical, mental, spiritual, social, and relational dimensions. We believe that God is deeply interested in the health and well-being of humanity, and that He wants to use His church as a special agent of healing to relieve suffering and reveal His love.

Health Food Stores

Pueblo First Seventh-day Adventist Church has a health food store where one can by healthy vegetarian and vegan foods. The store is open every second Wednesday of each month from 5-6 PM.
